In 2012, Rüzgar Erkoçlar received his first dose of testosterone, marking an important step in his gender affirmation. In Turkey however, where he was formerly a famous actress, the media coverage is harsh, and at times transphobic. The film captures his journey, a path paved with frustration, humiliation and endless waiting, while telling a story of courage, resilience and the fight for self-affirmation.
