The Walk tells the migration journey of Asil, a nine-year-old Syrian girl waiting for official documents in Turkey. Her story is brought to life through the giant puppet Amal, created by the artists of the Handspring Puppet Company.

The film, blending documentary and fiction, reality and poetry, offers a new perspective on asylum and migration and pays tribute to refugee children.
