Marta

Formed in 2022 through the meeting of violinist Joachim Baumerder and drummer Simon Lacouture, Marta is a live techno duo that channels the energy of the club into a performance played entirely live. Their approach is built around a deliberately stripped-down setup—violin, drums, pedals, and a few atmospheric layers—in service of a physical, repetitive, dance-driven music where organic sound is in constant dialogue with the codes of techno.
