Penser l'insurrection révolutionnaire

Gratis • Fr • 120'

Inequality is reaching catastrophic levels, authoritarianism is out of control, and predatory, extractivist capitalism is destroying the Earth and its inhabitants, draining away any desirable future. Let us explore the concrete conditions for revolution, the repressive forces that stand in its way, and the hurdles that must be overcome. This event follows on from the collective reading of the manifesto The Peoples Want! as part of the Festival of Peace.

With Benedikte Zitouni (Professor of Sociology at UCLouvain Saint-Louis Brussels, author of Resisting in Devastated Environments, 2026), Laurent Jeanpierre (Professor of Political Science at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, co-editor of Post-Capitalist Worlds), Amaury Ghijselings (activist and trainer in practices of civil disobedience), and Lucas Amilcar, co-author of the internationalist manifesto Revolutions of Our Time (The Peoples Want).
