Entering someone’s home to arrest an undocumented person: that is what the proposed law on “home visits” would allow. More than 200 organisations oppose it, in the name of the right to privacy, the inviolability of the home and solidarity. In response to this proposal, what forms of resistance are possible? The mobilised collectives and associations will come and explain the concrete consequences of such a measure, the tensions it creates and the scope for resistance.
With Sibylle Gioe (lawyer and president of the Human Rights League), Cécile Vanderstappen (advocacy officer for migration justice at CNCD-11.11.11) and Sotieta Ngo (general director of CIRE).
