A few years ago, the idea of unconditional basic income was still considered a pipe dream. Today, the debate on the issue is creeping into the media and electoral campaigns. Its partisans see in it a solution to a number of post-modern problems. Experiments with unconditional basic income have been carried out on several scales. What lessons can we draw from them?
