The merciless race of life. Many perish, a few survive. In the end, there are just two categories: losers and winners. And then there are Les R’tardataires. They don’t give a damn about the race. They stopped running a long time ago, and now they do things their way. Unclassifiable, original, funny, their way is ‘hip hop chanson’. Les R’tardataires are two MCs and a beat maker, as well as four musicians (bass, drums, guitar, keyboard) who all know where they’re going. Their hip hop meets up with rock, ragtime and the blues, and talks about saloons, parasites and an enchanted forest, all with a dash of irony that’s made their reputation.
