A documentary in the form of a personal letter to the director’s father, a prisoner who was tortured by Brazil’s military dictatorship in 1971. A cinematographic work that pits memory against oblivion. A look back at the struggle and the campaign led by the prisoner’s mother and Amnesty International to have him released. A journey to understand the horror of a system, without any help from the father, now exiled in Sweden, who never mentions these past events.
